Johnsie Miller, age 84, of Meadowview, VA passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Miller; a brother, Jim Casey; and her parents, Joe and Bonnie Casey. Johnsie is survived by her brother, Carl Casey; a daughter, Mary Ann Bise and her husband, Jackie; a son, Steve Miller and his wife, Susan; a granddaughter, Johnna Fields and her husband, Joey; and four very special puppies, Gizmo, Daisy, Lucas, and Abbie. "Grandma" was passionate about her family, work, and life. She also enjoyed traveling, learning, and trying new things. In her travels, Johnsie and her brother visited 48 of the 50 states, as well as Canada. Known for being a hard worker, Johnsie owned the Fabric Center for over 20 years, and continued to work with her daughter at Second Time Around until September 2016. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her nurses, Pam Crain, Kristie White, and Mary Ray, and neighbor, Karen Gobble, for all the love and care.
